High School Volleyball
Coach Joey Crouch took over the volleyball program in 2020, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge about the sport since returning to his alma mater in 2019. Coach Crouch began his volleyball coaching career at Bracken County in 2015 as the strength and conditioning coach for the Lady Bears. He was a part of four straight district championship teams in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. In 2017, he took over the middle volleyball program at Bracken County, coaching the Lady Cubs for two seasons before returning to Augusta. He spent the 2019 season as an assistant to Coach Roy Machen III before taking over the program the following season. Coach Crouch is a proud 2008 graduate of Augusta Independent Schools and is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Coach Crouch is also the strength and conditioning coach to the boys varsity basketball team as well as a full time Instructional Monitor at Augusta Independent.
