Meet Your Board Members

Mike Taylor

Title: Chair

Mr. Taylor was appointed to a vacant seat on the school board in December of 2023.  He was selected as Vice Chair in July of 2024-December of 2024.  He retained his seat on the board by being elected in November of 2024. He was selected by the Board to serve as Chair for 2026.

Bob Snapp

Mr. Snapp was appointed to a vacant seat in September 2024 and took the seat in October.  He was selected to serve as Vice Chair in January of 2026.

Laura Bach

Mrs. Bach has been on the board since 2001.  During her tenure, she served as vice chair for three years (2003, 2006, and 2012).  She has served as Board Chair for 12 years (2008, 2010-2011, 2014-2019, 2023-2025).

Matt McCane

Mr. McCane was appointed to a vacant seat on the school board in July of 2025.  McCane previously served on the Augusta City Council from 2004-2024. 

Chasity Saunders

Ms. Saunders was elected to the school board in 2013 and has served continuously since that time. She served as Vice Chair in 2025.
